Together UK Foundation Scottish Launch

On the evening of Friday 28th April, a gathering of diverse communities came to the Clyde Room at Edminston House to celebrate the Scottish launch of the Together UK Foundation.

The launch was generously sponsored by the India Council of Scotland and incorporated over 120 guests from Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, and Christian faiths who enjoyed an evening of fine dining, speeches, and a toast to the King.

After the National Anthems of India and the United Kingdom, there was large applause when the President of the India Council of Scotland, Mr Neil Lal, was announced as a Patron of the foundation by Baroness Foster, to work alongside Lady Jane Grosvenor and Mr. Jeff Edwards DL of which Mr. Lal humbly accepted. 

Mr. Lal was also honoured by the visiting India delegation for his tireless work in building trade between the two countries and for his longstanding charity work in India.
